Go Beyond the Bin: Become a Climate Champion

We believe in the power of continuous learning and active engagement in composting and climate action. Our mission is to inspire and equip educators with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to become leaders in sustainability practices. Go Beyond the Bin is an extension of our free K-12 STEAM Classroom Composting Program. This initiative encourages teachers to expand their knowledge and activities beyond the classroom by participating in external composting and climate action opportunities. By engaging in these activities, teachers can enhance their own understanding and bring invaluable insights back to their students and communities.

How It Works

  1. Participate in Activities: Engage in composting and climate action activities listed monthly on this page.

  2. Submit Your Activity: Document your participation and submit it to hello@letsgocompost.org.

  3. Win Prizes: Participants will be entered into contests to win exciting prizes that support your composting and climate action efforts.

  4. Recognition: Teachers, students, and schools who complete activities will be recognized for their dedication and may receive additional support and resources for their sustainability initiatives.

Incentives & Rewards

We value your commitment to composting and climate action. Complete our monthly activities for:

  • Monthly Contests: The opportunity to win composting tools, educational materials, and more.

  • Exclusive Resources: Gain access to advanced composting and climate action resources and materials.

  • Future Support: Participating schools will be noted for additional support in their composting initiatives.

✨ Stay tuned for additional opportunities later this school year! âœ¨
